When things are hard, it's nice to know that even the confident struggle. She's sure of herself but she falls apart when life throws her curve balls. So I was interested in this heroine, Dori, the one that could bring the mighty Reid down. Book two left some hints that Reid might be redeemable but you never know with a bad boy like him. Having read the first two books, I was excited to get to this one. Can they survive the month without killing each other? Could be close. But she's not counting on the sudden pull she feels towards him. ![]() She's not interested in babysitting him through his forced volunteering. She's not impressed by Reid's star status. Reporting his first day to work, he meets Dori, local humanitarian and preachers daughter. Trying to control the PR damage, Reid has no choice but to help build the new house for the family he displaced. That comes in the form of court ordered community service. Even his high powered attorney father can't get him out of this one without some restitution. Reid, the heart throb superstar, wakes up in the hospital with no memory of totaling his band new car.
